For Pacifica National Board Chair: Dr. Julianne Malveaux, a distinguished educator, activist, WPFW broadcaster, author and syndicated columnist

For PNB Vice-chair, Perri “Mama PK” McCary, Houston-based Sankofa-process leader, former host of the Peace Hour, KPFT LSB member and Community Advisory Board chair

For PNB Secretary, Donna Carter from KPFA, community and labor activist in CA Nurses Association and LSB and PNB member

For PNB Treasurer, Kamau Harris, chair of the WPFW Local Station Board, business owner, accountant, and financial data analyst at a non-profit hospital

Listeners and staff at all five stations had until July 11 at 11:59 pm Pacific time to make nominations, and will eventually vote when ballots are sent out on August 15. PNB board officers needed 100 nominations with some coming from at least 3 different stations.

For National Staff directors: Ninel Centeno, Spanish-language programmer at KPFK and a community and labor organizer, and Sally Gellert, a community activist and programmer at WBAI in the NY/NJ area.

Staff at all five stations can eventually vote for those two positions, a major reduction in staff representation.

For station listener director: at KPFA, Cheryl Davila; at KPFK, Michael Novick; at KPFT, Vinisha PatelAdams; at WPFW, Michele Tingling-Clemmons; at WBAI, we note two candidates from within the Coalition, James Sagurton and Sharonne Salaam. Candidates for PNB station listener representative, to be elected in August by listeners at each station, needed 50 nominations from listeners at their own station.
